The Reason for The Season

Almighty, you could have snapped us into a blip to avenge for our unruly stubbornness and cruelty. You could have hypnotized us from the beginning of time to follow you with nothing called free will. No urge to disobey, steal or kill. But you chose to send your begotten son.
In the beginning, you could have corrected sin and immorality yet allowed men to dwell in their carnality and later show them your sovereignty. Leaving His comfort zone, He came down to live as one of us.

He was betrayed for a few denominations, chastised on several occasions but chose our salvation over condemnation. And for our sake He was condemned to death. To the wisdom of man, it was an improper fraction but to God a perfect solution.Though sinless and blameless, He bore the crossed burdened with our sins. Under the Heavy cross bathed in blood and sweat, he fell three times yet didn’t give up.

He was poised to accomplish this mission of our salvation. Nailed to the cross, blood oozing from every part of his body, overwhelmed with suffering and the weight of his own body and our sins pulling him down, he bowed his head in death and it was finished. With this blood he changed the subject from sin to grace, giving us rest and freedom from punishment no doubt we deserved. This love was an irrational expression. Christ, zeroed out our every crime, factored us into his lifeline and made us prime. He redefined the divine set and made some addition.

He intercepted destruction with redemption. No mathematician can ever comprehend His formula for this calculation. We were condemned sinners but he kissed death for us to be winners. Embraced the cross so we won’t suffer loss. He was betrayed for meagre shekels so we will be delivered from the devil’s shackles. In his crucifixion and resurrection, we got an eternal inheritance. We were given a precious gift of essence, The Holy Spirit.

He flipped open a new page for the parturition of a new age. He ascended and was crowned with a new name and glory. This is our victory story. This is no fiction. This is a story about how one man carried the sins of the whole world. And through him we have salvation only if we believe and confess He is Lord. He is the reason for this season. It is Easter. Let’s celebrate together.

The Quality of Locally-manufactured Cornmill Grinding Plates

Corn mill A KNUST research has revealed people who consume corn-related foods risk contracting all kinds of cancers According to the research, the locally manufactured machine used to grind the corn into dough food wears off faster into the dry maize, thus contaminating it. A study by two lead researchers at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has revealed that consumers of corn-related foods risk contracting all kinds of cancers. The research was undertaken by Prof. Kwofie, who is the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering (former) of the College of Engineering, and Dr. Anthony Andrews (now Professor) , the Head of Department (former)  for Materials Engineering . The study found that the metals used for the milling plates usually wear off when the food products are being grinded. This, the study said, opens consumers to the risk of contracting cancer, since the metals contain 'iron overloads' which are poisonous. ...
